When we let go of the days chaos, to focus on something simple in life, even for a short time, it can really open our eyes to different ways to view life.

Here are a couple of lunch ideas that can be healthy and satisfying, as we need to be conscious on what we take into our body:
Lunch:
- Salmon with spinach- Salmon contains a good amount of omega-3’s. The spinach is chock full of B vitamins, and it is soothing to the belly. Sprinkle wheat germ over spinach for added folic acid bonus.
- Spinach salad with hard boiled egg- Eggs also contain tryptophan, so adding a portion of beans, (carbohydrate), may help increase serotonin release. Sprinkle with wheat germ for added folic acid bonus.
Mid-Afternoon:
- Are you getting tired? Think of why that may be. What type of lunch did you eat? Are you consuming enough protein? Did you get enough sleep last night?
- If you are feeling tired, try to energize your body naturally with exercise, instead of grabbing that cup of coffee. Take a walk around the block, or do some deep breathing exercises to help rejuvenate your body and mind.
- Always remember to take the time to smile. If you are on the road, try to crack a smile each time you stop at a stop sign or stop light. Then feel how the smile may change your attitude.
