2.1 (B) Gratitude
Gratitude:
One way we can start to feel better about ourselves, others and situations, is to really grasp onto the concept of being grateful. Gratitude is defined as: the quality of being thankful, showing appreciation for.
When we appreciate what we have, and acknowledge the treasures that we already have in life, we won’t get so stressed about all the things we THINK we need! When we are grateful, we tend to feel better about ourselves, and in life in general.
Grateful people are happier, more kind to others, less depressed, less anxious, less stressed, and enjoy life more! They also have less sleep issues, have a greater work ethic, and are prepared to handle life’s challenging moments. The more you practice gratitude, the easier life can be!
When you are grateful for what you DO have, the things that you don’t have, can become less important. But, the most important part of feeling gratitude, is that it helps you learn acceptance!
